GARM Brand Safety Analysis
LLMSE evaluates brand suitability using the GARM Brand Suitability Framework (Global Alliance for Responsible Media). Every classified website is scored across 11 sensitive content categories with risk levels ranging from Floor (unsuitable for any advertising) to Safe (broadly suitable).
GARM Grading
Every classified website receives a GARM brand safety grade:
11 GARM Categories
The GARM framework defines 11 sensitive content categories. LLMSE maps each classified website's content category to the corresponding GARM risk level:
Scoring Logic
The GARM score combines the content category risk level with the page's sentiment to produce a final brand safety score:
For example, a military defense article (Medium risk, base 60) with educational framing (Good sentiment, +15) scores 75 (Grade B). The same topic with negative sentiment (-20) would score 40 (Grade C).
