Infrastructure Concentration Index: How Much of the Web Depends on Cloudflare, AWS, and Google

We cross-referenced 1.4 million domains across three infrastructure layers — web servers, DNS, and email — to measure how concentrated the internet really is. Cloudflare alone handles 40% of DNS and 32% of web traffic in our dataset. 202,884 domains depend on Cloudflare for both web serving and DNS resolution — a single point of failure for every one of them.

Healthcare sites are trusted but inaccessible: EEAT pass rates beat every industry except Science, while WCAG scores barely match the web average. With the May 11, 2026 HHS deadline 75 days away, the industry writes for doctors but builds for nobody with a disability.
